Organization of Public Awareness Workshop on Public Credit Registry and Registry of Securing Charges on Movable Property in Bamyan Province
Based on the second phase of Public Awareness Program, Public Credit Registry Department (PCR) organized a Public Awareness Workshop in Bamyan province with the financial support of World Bank on October 08, 2017. The workshop was attended by the employees of Microfinance Institutions, University Students, Merchants, Representatives of Commerce and Industries, and the Employees of Da Afghanistan Bank in Bamyan Province. The program started with the opening notes of Mr. Abdul Nasser Sahak, Deputy Director of Public Credit Registry department, described that this workshop will improve the awareness of relevant organizations on how to benefit from the PCR systems and how this System can facilitate access to finance in Afghanistan.
Mr. Abdul Nasser Sahak, Deputy Director of Public Credit Registry department, carried on the workshop by explaining the vibrant role of both systems for economic development and facilitating access to finance in the country. In addition, he focused on PCR and CR challenges, accomplishments, and present standing. The workshop was practically continued by Mr. Mohammad Taimur, and Mr. Mohammad Afzal. At the end, Mohammad Mohsin, Regional Director General of DAB of Bamyan Province, appreciated the participation of relevant stakeholders and admired employees of PCR for organizing public awareness workshop for the purpose of educating related institutions.
